Cooperative Fire Hazard Mitigation Priority Project
On March 1,
2006, the Coeur d’Alene Tribe hosted a Cooperative Fire Hazard Mitigation
Priority meeting that was held at the Coeur d’Alene Casino. This purpose of
this meeting was to inform the agencies and departments within the “study area”
about the information gathered and analysis completed up until this point. The
meeting included presentations, as well as breakout sessions to identify values
and risks to map in order to effectively prioritize Fuel treatments within the
Study area.
